The High Court of Karnataka issued notices to the state government, Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) and others on a petition filed by a man, who lost his wife and minor child in the Namma Metro pillar collapse, seeking compensation.

The petitioner and his family were on a two-wheeler in Nagawara when a metro pillar fell on them, killing his wife and his son.
