Line Of Duty fans have suddenly found Ian Buckells at the middle of their investigation into who 'H' is. Here's what you need to know about his
Line Of Duty history.
We first meet Ian Buckells in
Line Of Duty season 1 where he's appointed the senior investigating officer in the case of Jackie Laverty's disappearance, when Tony Gates is taken off the case. We later discover Jackie Laverty is killed by the OCG in order to frame and blackmail Tony into doing as they ask.
It's the same series where we're introduced to Ryan Pilkington, aka BMX boy, who supplied DCI Tony Gates with burner phones and tried to cut off Steve Arnott's fingers .

Line of Duty's prison guard Alison Merchant appears to FINALLY get caught in filming pictures

Line of Duty's bent prison officer Alison Merchant seems to have finally been caught by AC-12 and brought to justice.
In filming pictures, which were taken in September 2020 and show scenes yet to air in the current series, she is seen being arrested at gunpoint by armed officers.
Merchant (Maria Connolly) was first introduced in series two when she put feces in Linday Denton’s food and poured boiling water over her hand while in custody.

Bridgerton fans were shocked after an eagle-eyed viewer discovered Claudia Jessie, who plays Eloise in the Netflix hit, previously starred in Line Of Duty.
The actress, 31, played Detective Constable Jodie Taylor in series four of the BBC Crime Drama and worked under guest lead DCI Roz Huntley (Thandwie Newton).
Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: 'I have only just twigged that Eloise Bridgerton is also Jodie from Line Of Duty. Yes, that's Jodie in season four. Well done, Claudia Jessie'.

Ted Hastings' exclamation 'mother of God!' to the Jo Davidson revelation at the end of last night's Line of Duty pretty much summed up how many viewers felt as the action-packed episode came to a close.
DNA samples taken from PS Farida Jatri's home not only revealed DCI Davidson had been there, despite denying their personal relationship in the past, but also threw up a DNA match to someone else on the police database - a mystery blood relative of Davidson's.
And there was more than one blast from the past for long-time fans of the crime drama, as AC-12 visited bent lawyer James 'Jimmy' Lakewell in prison to interview him after identifying him as the man who spoke to murdered journalist Gail Vella about police corruption.
