Is involved in control and supervision of operations. when we get to the main control room, we will be monitoring and controlling from up here. essentially controlling everything from this room, but we also have our group of operator technicians, so they are our eyes and ears on the plant as well. so a lot of teamwork involved. and i can only imagine that when you re doing your training, they throw lots of nasty scenarios at you, do they? are there lots of different ways to learn what to do if things don t go according to plan? yes, sure. so daily operations is normallyjust start up, shut down, and routine operations. obviously you have to prepare for if something could happen. so they throw all manners of scenarios at you, so you are prepared for any situation. sounds stressful. is that stressful? no, not particularly. i suppose if you re training for the job it is just day to day life for a normal person. that s the idea. thank you very much indeed, good to see you here this morning. ....
