Manhattan Beach, Calif. – The Florida State Seminoles split the first day of the East to West Tournament, winning against No. 8 Hawaii 4-1 and losing to No. 3 USC 3-2. FSU 4, No. 8 Hawaii 1 Court four got the action started for the Noles with a quick three-set dual. Raelyn White and Caitlin Moon dropped the first set a close 21-19, but came out swinging in the second set winning 21-14. TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Michaela Edenfield's six-RBI day helped the No. 7 Florida State softball team (28-7, 7-1) to an 8-0 run-rule victory over Georgia Tech (17-17, 2-9) on Saturday afternoon at JoAnne Graf Field. The Noles clinched its third ACC series of the season and have now won 25 straight games against the Yellow Jackets. EVANS, Ga. - Charlotte Heath and Lottie Woad are two of Florida State’s own that have advanced to the final round of the Augusta National Women’s Amateur. Heath shot two consecutive rounds of even-par, while Woad had a phenomenal comeback in round two with a 3-under par 69. The top 30 in the field made the 2-over par cut, as Heath placed T14 and Woad placed T28.
