Sheriff's deputies said the road patrol deputy's vehicle collided with a 2019 Hyundai at the intersection of routes 5 and 233 at about 2:40 p.m. Friday in Westmoreland. Both the deputy and the other driver suffered minor injuries, authorities said, and both were treated and released from Wynn Hospital in Utica.
Deputies said Alison M. Collings, of Westmoreland, was in a verbal argument with a family member at the Stewart's Shop on Route 233 at about 10:30 a.m. Sunday. Deputies said Collings was intoxicated and was running into the roadway during the argument.
