NORRISTOWN — If you’re out of work and without health insurance, there are resources available you may not be aware of.
The NAACP of Greater Norristown is collaborating with four state representatives and industry experts to offer an informative webinar on health care coverage, particularly geared for underserved and overlooked communities, on Tuesday, Jan. 5, at 6:30 p.m.
“We reached out to a state rep’s office because we know they have these resources,” noted Angie Hinton, the new president of NAACP of Greater Norristown. “With COVID, a lot of people have lost their jobs and also lost their health care, and we wanted to provide information regarding a resource that people could try to use to get affordable insurance access. And so they connected us with Pennie.” ....
