Members from Kiwanis Club of Tahoe Sierra and Boys and Girls Club of Lake Tahoe staff The Kiwanis Club of Tahoe Sierra has donated $1000 from their Meat Raffle fundraiser to the Boys and Girls Club of Lake Tahoe s (BGCLT) Building Bright Futuresâ project. Unable to have its usual in-person fundraiser, the Kiwanis Club teamed up with Overland Meat & Seafood Co. during the pandemic and raffled off a Family Pack of meat and seafood. Proceeds from the raffle went to the building fund. It was a really fun and successful fundraiserâ, said Kelly Meyer, president of the Kiwanis Club of Tahoe Sierra. âWe are excited to support a local business and donate to the Club at the same time.
