A man who killed an angler innocently enjoying a summer evening’s fishing at a members-only lake has been detained in a secure hospital.
Kevin Hodkinson was rushed from the pond off Herries Road in Shirecliffe, Sheffield to hospital by paramedics and died a short time later. Police have now charged Kieran Hayes, 33, with murder.
