The preliminary hearing for Larry Millete, who is accused in the death of his wife Maya, resumed Monday, and it could potentially conclude the following day.
Genesis Nicolas-Tabalanza said that in mid-2020, her brother-in-law Larry Millete admitted in text messages to putting his daughter's phone in his wife's vehicle in order to track her whereabouts about six months before she disappeared.
“That’s where she told me that she needs a place to live,” Nicolas-Tabalanza said. “If she could live with us. I was very shocked to hear that.”
Pablito Tabalanza testified that Larry did not say who he wanted to kill. He also said that there was no context to the conversation.
