St. Andrew presented its annual Martin Luther King Jr. Awards at mass on Sunday, Jan. 16. Since 2002, the parish has honored people whose service embodies the values of Dr. King, who used nonviolence, civil disobedience and christian teaching to advance the cause of civil rights in America.

Father and son of the cloth reflect on both being ordained into ministry and serving in North Dakota
Eric Seitz joined the men of the cloth in August 2020, and just two months later, his father, Ben Seitz, was clothed with a deacon's robe. With Father Eric at St. John’s Catholic Church in Wahpeton, N.D., and Deacon Ben serving at Sts. Anne and Joachim Catholic Church in Fargo, the two are rarely on the altar together.
