(Shutterstock) AVON LAKE, OH — Avon Lake officials are planning a tree-based memorial for former resident and member of the Citizens Tree Commission Russell Beck. Beck died last week in Oregon, surrounded by his daughter's family, the city confirmed. While living in Avon Lake, Beck served on the Citizens Tree Commission for 23 years.
