The Parkway Center in Utica and the Oneida County Office for the Aging are looking for volunteers to shovel walkways and sidewalks for older adults who can’t physically do it themselves, or afford to pay someone to do it for them.

One at the Parkway Center in Utica and the other at M.V.C.C. in Rome. These are 2 of 35 such sites that opened this week alone across the state, others have opened in the two weeks prior, since January 23rd. The state ordered county governments to open these sites to get shots in the arms of low income and minority groups. These individuals still need to fall in the 1A or 1B eligibility group to receive the vaccine.
