Beth Ann Seals, 60, of Ellery, Illinois, departed from her earthly home and went to be with Jesus at 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2022. She was born on August 9, 1961, in Fairfield, Illinois, the daughter of Delmar and Ina Lee (Mitchell) Sample. She married Johnathan Matthew Seals on August 29, 1980, and together they have enjoyed forty-one years of love filled marriage. Beth devoted her life to Christ, her family, and friends. Her faith brought her through her battles with cancer over the last four and a half years. She is now reunited in heaven with her son Ean. Beth always had a beautiful smile and won the hearts of many people throughout her lifetime. Beth valued her many years working at Citizens National Bank of Albion. She treasured her group of friends from the bank and also the relationships she had with customers. March 4, 2021 Edward B. “Ed” Thompson, 53, of Albion, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, Indiana, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on May 10, 1967 in Olney, Illinois, the son of Jimmy and Barbara (Hamilton) Thompson. He married Kim Kennard on March 25, 1995 and together they have enjoyed twenty-five years of marriage, centered around their family. Ed, also known as “Eddie” to his family, close friends and classmates, was a dedicated employee of Albion Equipment Company as a service technician for thirty-one years. He took his job seriously and always made sure to do his best to be helpful and get the job done right. Ed was an avid sports fan. He greatly enjoyed playing, watching and coaching basketball.
