The People s United Foundation is distributing nearly $1 million in grants for the first phase of 2021.
FARMINGTON, CT People’s United Community Foundation, the philanthropic arm of People’s United Bank, announced Monday that the local Red Cross branch is part of an award package totaling $989,589 f0r the first grant cycle of 2021.
In all, to 150 non-profits are receiving grants, including the American Red Cross branch in Farmington.
The awards are being distributed throughout the People s United footprint, covering Connecticut, New York, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. ....
