Ohio Investing In Cleveland Innovation District Patch 1/26/2021 CLEVELAND — Ohio officials unveiled plans for the Cleveland Innovation District this week. “The Cleveland Innovation District creates partnerships across different sectors of the economy and positions Ohio as a competitive place to invest in,” said Gov. Central Ohio stands to pick up 240 jobs from two projects that received approval for state tax incentives on Monday, including plans by crafts and fabric retailer Joann to build a distribution center in West Jefferson. The projects were among six to be approved by the Ohio Tax Credit Authority at its monthly meeting that will create 2,423 jobs and retain 18,458 jobs statewide.
