Mar 9, 2021 Sharon D. Cornell, 85, of Meadow Street, Broadalbin, passed away at home on Saturday, March 6, 2021, with family at her side. She was born in Hornell, NY, on November 5, 1935, a daughter of Herman and Iva Dunkell Dennis and moved to Amsterdam as a child. Sharon was a 1953, graduate of Broadalbin High School and was a longtime area resident. Mrs. Cornell was employed as a teacher’s aide at Broadalbin Central School and later at the Broadalbin-Perth School District. She worked in the school library and was also the cheerleading advisor.
