Salvation Army Family Store has reopened after being closed for months
The Salvation Army Family Store has reopened after eight months of closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The roughly 15,000-square-foot thrift store reopened two months ago at 5042 S. Padre Island Dr. The nonprofit renovated the store while it was closed with new dressing rooms, flooring and decorations. The Salvation Army Coastal Bend is celebrating with a ribbon cutting at the store at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
