Japan Airlines and sustainable aviation fuel producer Gevo have signed a new agreement for the carrier to purchase 5.3 million gallons of SAF (sustainable aviation fuel) for five years with deliveries expected to begin in 2027. JAL is a member of the Oneworld airline alliance and this agreement falls within the framework of a memorandum of understanding between Oneworld and Gevo.
