Copperas Cove woman says she s the victim in the off-duty officer-involved shooting and last updated 2021-05-28 10:03:38-04 COPPERAS COVE, TX â The Texas Rangers are investigating a shooting in the 1500 block of Robertson Avenue in Copperas Cove. In a press release sent to 25 News from the Copperas Cove Police Department, an off-duty police officer was involved in the shooting. The release explained that the officer was not injured, yet a female driver was sent to Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Temple with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. 25 News was at the scene of the shooting when a woman in a light blue hospital gown and multiple wounds stopped by the crime scene asking officers working to retrieve her phone from what she says was her vehicle, the one that was involved in the shooting. ....
