2000 applications later, these are the female-led fashion business that have landed government funding

The Australian government has announced the round one grant recipients of the Boosting Female Founders Initiative. 
Over 2,200 expressions of interest were received the in the round, with a total of $12 million in funding available.
Round one of the Boosting Female Founders Initiative provided 51 female-founded - which were at least 50% women owned and led - startup businesses with funding to scale into domestic and global markets.
Applications were assessed by an Independent Assessment Committee made up of successful female entrepreneurs.
