rough week. >> it will be. >> chad, good to have you here this weekend as well. president obama made a couple of calls yesterday, trying to get thingses moving on the budget. reaching out to house speaker john boehner and senate majority leader harry reid. talking about a compromise on how much to cut. paul stinehauser has more on what could happen if no deal is reached by friday. >> reporter: hey, good morning, t.j. the clock is ticking toward a possible government shutdown. democrats and republicans trying to reach a budget agreement to fund the budget for the rest of the fiscal year, through september. if there is no agreement by friday, the current government for the funding ends, and could be a shutdown of nonessential government offices and services. most americans say a shutdown would be a bad thing for the country. look at that 6-10 feel that way in the most recent cnn/pew research poll. some say that the shutdown would be a bad thing. and republicans and tea parties,
