【明報專訊】衛生防護中心昨晚公布，接獲澳洲衛生當局通報一宗感染最先在印度發現的Delta變種病毒個案，涉及一名52歲男病人，他6月26日晚上乘TR981離港經新加坡轉機，於當地逗留數小時後，翌日乘坐TR18航班前往墨爾本。他24日出發前檢測陰性，5日後（29日）在墨爾本驗出陽性，沒有病徵。患者居於大角嘴，而上月確診感染Delta變種病毒的香港航空男地勤，其同住父親亦在大角嘴五金舖工作。被問地勤的父親與澳洲通報個案有否關聯，衛生防護中心稱正繼續與澳洲衛生當局跟進個案，並做流行病學調查。政府專家顧問、中大呼吸系統科講座教授許樹昌表示，目前未能判斷澳洲確診男子的感染源頭，需盡快向當地索�
