Restaurant server at Pennsylvania restaurant receives $5000 tip

One customer who visited a restaurant in  Pennsylvania and ran up just a $205 bill, generously tipped their server $5,000. This reportedly occurred on Saturday, shortly before the state s indoor dining ban came into effect, the Anthony s at Paxon Hollow establishment.  According to CBS Philly, the tip was given by a group of golfers who regularly eat and play at Paxon Hollow, a golf course in Media, Pennsylvania. The Metro adds that the group of four were dressed in Christmas jumpers and hats. The lucky recipient was server Gianna DiAngelo from Philadelphia, who has worked at the restaurant for three years.

MARPLE TOWNSHIP, PA Three water main replacement projects worth $3.55 million in Marple Township, which are part of more than $10 million worth of water infrastructure projects that are underway in six Delaware County municipalities, are underway, according to Aqua Pennsylvania. Aqua is undertaking $10.2 million in infrastructure improvement projects in Upper Providence, Nether Providence, Middletown, Marple and Haverford townships and Rose Valley Borough to improve service reliability for customers throughout the county.
