Kalamazoo & Calhoun counties to get combined $700,000 from marijuana tax distribution
LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Michigan Department of Treasury is distributing nearly $10 million to more than 100 municipalities and counties across the state as part of the Michigan Regulation and Taxation of Marijuana Act. Several counties in southwest Michigan are included. Kalamazoo and Calhoun counties will be among the areas in the state getting the most money, thanks to several dispensaries located within its borders.
