Pokrovsk, Donetsk Oblast, 2 July 2021 – The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ukraine and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) has together with national partners opened a day centre for social and psychological assistance in Pokrovsk, Donetsk Oblast, for persons who have experienced domestic and gender-based violence.
The newly opened centre will work 24/7, and is designed to become a place of shelter for people who are facing various forms of violence. Here they will be able not only to protect themselves from offenders, but also receive comprehensive counselling, along with psychological, legal and social assistance, from qualified specialists. ....

Mariupol, Donetsk Oblast, 26 April 2021 – The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ukraine, with financial support from the Government of Canada, has completed the delivery of a series of mobile Administrative Service Centres (ASCs) to communities in eastern Ukraine.
Today the latest mobile centres were delivered to the communities of Mariupol in the south of Donetsk Oblast and Hirske and Novoaidar in Luhansk Oblast.
Delivery of the fleet of ten vehicles began in the summer of 2020. The new network of mobile administrative service centres now covers remote areas of the Novoaidar, Hirske, Popasna, Stanytsia Luhanska and Sievierodonetsk communities in Luhansk Oblast, and the Mariupol, Kurakhove, Siversk, Mariinka and Vuhledar c ....

Triokhizbenka, Luhansk Oblast, February 26, 2021 – The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ukraine under the United Nations Recovery and Peacebuilding Programme (UN RPP) has renovated a police station in the Triokhizbenka community, Luhansk Oblast, which is located 2 kilometers from the contact line in eastern Ukraine.
The work to renovate the police station was carried out with the financial support of the governments of Denmark, Sweden and Switzerland.
Before the opening of the renovated police station, the nearest police station serving the residents of Triokhizbenka was 40 kilometres away. The new police station will increase the efficiency and timeliness of law enforcement response to citizens requests and maintain residents safety living along the contact line.
