The Suffolk Peanut Festival takes place from October 5 to October 8. Nansemond River High School’s Destiny Caravello was crowned as the 2023 Suffolk Peanut Fest Queen.
There will be live music, amusement rides, petting zoo, and contests including a peanut butter sculpting competition. There will also be fireworks.
Tents are starting to pop up across the Suffolk Executive Airport field. Earles said the Peanut Fest kicks off, as planned, October 6th- 9th.
The International Sandsculpting Championship tent will open to guests on Oct. 3, and the Hometown Heroes event inside Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront will go on.
