He was in Nashville for his little brother's bachelor's party but had been fixated on the developing news here last week after two black lawmakers were unceremoniously booted from their posts for taking part in a gun control demonstration. Kempf's brother, Eddie, got married on Saturday, but the elder Kempf decided to stick around for another week to watch the events unfold.
