Russia increased its oil production in October by 30,000 barrels per day compared to the previous month to 9.53 million barrels per day, a fresh report by the International Energy Agency (IEA) said on Tuesday.
OPEC’s crude oil production climbed by 80,000 barrels per day in October, with Angola, Iran, and Nigeria leading the way.
Brent futures rose USD 1.57, or 2.0%, to USD 81.58 a barrel by 11:48 a.m. EST (1648 GMT), while U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude rose USD 1.54, or 2.0%, to USD 77.28.
