The Galveston Police Department is investigating a shooting that injured six people attending the Lone Star Rally.
Police identified Peddis Ray, 20, of Hitchcock, as the shooter. He was detained at the scene and found to have a gun.
The annual event that draws in around 500,000 bikers a year has drawn a reputation associated with an uptick in crime.
