The Pegasus snooping allegations are based on conjectures and "unsubstantiated media reports" and will be examined by a group of experts to dispel any wrong narrative, the government told the Supreme Court today.
"There is nothing to hide. It needs examination by committee of experts. This is a highly technical issue. We will appoint eminent neutral experts from the field," Solicitor General Tushar Mehta told the bench, which also comprised justices Surya Kant and Aniruddha Bose.
Parliament Highlights: There were just 21 hours – accounting for 22 per cent -- of productivity amid the din and adjournments in Lok Sabha, and 28 hours of business conducted in Rajya Sabha out of the total 102 hours.
