Elmwood bank robbery: Peoria sheriff's office seeks suspect in case
ELMWOOD — Detectives with the Peoria County Sheriff's Office have identified a suspect in connection with a Tuesday morning bank robbery in Elmwood, Sheriff Brian Asbell said. "It's still an active investigation but (we are) confident we have identified suspect," Asbell said in an email. That person is John Beck, the sheriff said. Beck is 54, approximately 5-foot-9 and about 160 pounds. Beck is on parole for a bank robbery in Champaign County.
