A second suspect in the shooting death of a Wheat Ridge business owner has been arrested and charged with murder, according to police.
Michael McCormack, 50, was arrested Wednesday by Wheat Ridge officers and charged with second-degree murder, second-degree kidnapping, aggravated robbery and motor vehicle theft by the First Judicial District Attorney's Office, officials announced Thursday.
A second person was arrested this week in connection with the November killing of Peter Arguello, who was killed at his jewelry shop on West 38th Avenue in November.
Peter Arguello was shot and killed at his shop Peter Damian's on Nov. 29. Police believe Charles Shay is a suspect in Arguello's slaying. He's held in Jeffco jail.
Charles Shay now faces a murder charge for the Nov. 29 killing of Peter Arguello at his jewelry store on West 38th Avenue.
