MPs have voted to suspend Peter Bone from the House of Commons for six weeks after an inquiry revealed allegations of bullying and inappropriate sexual conduct toward a former staff member. Despite vehemently denying the allegations, Mr. Bone's expulsion from the Conservative Party has left him serving as an independent MP after a long and influential career in Conservative politics.
The conduct of Conservative MP Peter Bone is under intense scrutiny following a recommendation by Parliament's behaviour watchdog that he be suspended for six weeks. The recommendation stems from allegations of both bullying and sexual misconduct brought forward by a former member of his staff, with the reported incidents dating back over a decade.
