The Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin-based retailer said CEO Michelle Gass is stepping down from that job and as a member of the company's board, effective Dec. 2. Ancora, an activist investor, in September advocated a CEO change. Gass is leaving for Levi Strauss, where she will become CEO within 18 months.
Ms. Gass, who will be become president at the denim maker, is expected to take over the top post at the company within 18 months.
