CASTLEWOOD, S.D. (AP) — Residents of a small community in northeastern South Dakota are still recovering from a wave of destructive storms a month ago. Piles of debris and broken tree limbs sit on the edge of town in Castlewood, a community of about 600 near Watertown.
Castlewood residents are still picking up the pieces over a month after the destructive May 12 storms.
"We wanted the best closure we could do with our students," Books said.
Born on the first day of July, Beau Michael Hohertz brought a light and joy into this world and his family that no one had known before.
