The UK health and beauty retailer Superdrug said it saw stronger than usual sales in the December trading period for 2023 and that sales of its own brand products were up by 10% on last year.
The pharmacy chain said sales in the four weeks to December 30 were 9.2pc higher than a year earlier. Scents by pop star Ariana Grande and fashion brand Calvin Klein flew off the shelves, boosting sales.
