Vice-president and chief of staff, Dr. Lynn Mikula, says they have plans in place in the event of a major surge, which at this point, hasn’t happened. Dr. Mikula says the centre has 28 ICU beds and if needed, and has space to add 24 more. President and CEO, Dr. Peter McLaughlin, gave a presentation to General Committee last night on the situation.
