A new 14-floor Grade A office block next to the Belfast Transport Hub has won planning permission. Ossian Holdings, the company behind One Grosvenor Gate on Grosvenor Road, said it will bring 100 jobs during construction and when complete, will have room for over 2,500 workers. It’s the latest big developer to proceed with plans for new office buildings despite fears that the rise of home-working during the pandemic could lead to a fall in demand for offices from employers. But due to its large floor areas, the 226,800 sq ft office will be able to accommodate more open-plan space and collaborative areas.
