Traffic was slow going in Carson City along Highway 50 East following two crashes Tuesday, according to Nevada State Police. There was a crash reported at around 3:50 p.m. on US-50 East and Nye Lane. There was a second crash at 5:18 p.m. reportedly near US-50 and Brown Street. Injuries are unknown at this time. Motorists can expect delays.

Visit Carson City and pro cyclist Peter Stetina hosted the Peter Stetina Paydirt Challenge gravel race in Carson City this weekend. More than 600 bikers from around the world participated in either the 69-mile long course or the 56-mile medium course races.
