DCF Highlights Safe Haven Awareness Day To Remind Parents Of Newborns That They Have Options
Since the passage of the Safe Haven law in 2000, 57 newborn babies have been given up safely to local hospitals in Connecticut, including two this year. That's according to the Department of Children and Families (DCF), which celebrated Safe Haven Awareness Day on Thursday.
