According to the official press release, âSupervillain: The Making of Tekashi 6ix9ineâ will premiere on Showtime on February 21, 2021, at 10 pm ET/PT. Fans can catch the new episodes every Sunday through March 7, while the entire series will release for on-demand streaming or download on Showtime and across all Showtime partner platforms on the same day.
Plot
The three-part docuseries profiles the Mexican-Puerto Rican hip-hop artist and his aspiration to go down as one of the most infamous celebrities ever known. The docu-film will include interviews with Tekashi69 after his release from prison last year after he made a plea deal to testify against fellow gang members. Interestingly, âSupervillainâ is based on the Rolling Stone article âTekashi 6ix9ine: The Rise and Fall of a Hip-Hop Supervillainâ and is narrated by Better Call Saulâ actor Giancarlo Esposito. ....

Showtime has unveiled the first trailer for its forthcoming docu-series “Supervillain: The Making of Tekashi 6ix9ine, which details the controversial rapper’s “epic rise to notoriety and spectacular fall to convicted criminal.” The series premieres on Sunday, February 21 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. New episodes will debut on-air every Sunday through March 7, while the entire series will release for on-demand streaming or download on Showtime and across all partner platforms on February 21.
