Officers help area residents in crisis Ellsworth Police Log Week of March 18 ELLSWORTH — Police responded to separate reports of two local residents suffering mental health issues. Officer Adam Bouchard spoke with a person in crisis on March 12 who was subsequently taken to Northern Light Maine Coast Hospital for an evaluation. On March 14, Officer Amie Torrey responded to a report of a woman with a knife. Torrey found the woman, who was then taken in for a mental health evaluation.
