City commission receives health update, approves project bid
The city commission met Monday to receive a health update, consider awarding a bid for a project at Kenwood Cove and discuss offering general obligation bonds for future projects. There were only 66 new cases of COVID-19 in the last two weeks, according to county health officer Jason Tiller, which he noted as a "significant amount of progress.” Regarding vaccines, he said about 11,000 people who live and work in Saline County will be vaccinated by the end of the week.
