A fire crew is reminding everyone – especially young people – to stick to Covid rules, following a spate of bin fires during the night. Workington Fire Station has issued the warning after a group of about 10 youths were spotted making their way round Workington between 6.30pm-10.30pm yesterday (December 29). It is believed the group is responsible for setting five bin fires – two on Westfield Bridge, two on Wastwater Avenue, and one in Distington.
