LOWELL — The idea of providing students in Middlesex Community College’s hospitality and culinary arts program real-world, experiential learning in hotel operations at an actual hotel was the focus of a Friday fact-finding tour of UMass Lowell’s Inn & Conference Center requested by state Sen. Ed Kennedy.

LOWELL — A longstanding partnership between Middlesex Community College and UMass Lowell may result in the college playing a future role in the university’s Inn & Conference Center, which the Healey-Driscoll administration confirmed on Tuesday was under discussion as emergency migrant family housing.

LOWELL — After connecting with the leaders of the Lowell Youth Leadership Program at an event in Lowell, Middlesex Community College President Phil Sisson was interested in building a partnership between the two organizations. Founded by MCC alum Andres Lopez, LYLP’s mission aligns with MCC’s to offer an accessible and equitable experience to all students.
