SEED 3.0: teacher wins $2500 to launch math, engineering competition
Trey Smith plans to launch the Philadelphia Engineering/Math Challenge in November and already has secured support from Drexel and the Philadelphia Math + Science Coalition. He'll use the money for materials for the challenge, stipends for the teachers and awards for the students, according to his application.
