A dog that was left injured and abandoned on the train tracks in Philadelphia back in November 2022 has found a forever home.
Lucky, the dog rescued from SEPTA train tracks in Montgomery County in November 2022, is available for adoption. The Philly Rescue Angels say the pitbull, who is paralyzed, requires a wheeled cart to move around and is in need of continued physical therapy. The ideal fit is a family that is home often and does not have young children.
Lucky the dog has had quite the devastating journey thus far, but things are finally looking up - and he is finally getting all the love and care he truly deserves!
Lucky, the abandoned dog found with a severed spinal cord along SEPTA train tracks in Montgomery County last week, underwent his first therapy session Monday and was fitted for a new harness, according to Philly Rescue Angels, the organization that saved him. The paralyzed pitbull mix underwent surgery last week at Ryan Veterinary Hospital. Philly Rescue Angels is asking for donations to cover the dog's medical costs.
