New NC Highway Patrol colonel visits Robeson County © Provided by WPDE Myrtle Beach/Florence The new North Carolina Highway Patrol Colonel Freddy Johnson, Jr. visited the Robeson County Troop B District 7 Annual District Meeting, which was held Tuesday at the Lumbee Tribe Boys & Girls Club in Pembroke, according to a news release. Johnson was sworn in as the new Highway Patrol Colonel in April. Officials said he now oversees the 1,843 Highway Patrol Troopers in North Carolina.
