Accenture on Monday said that Open Cosmos builds and operates space missions, providing access to high-quality satellite data and insights on a global scale via a data services platform.
Prateep Basu, CEO and co-founder of Bengaluru-based space tech startup SatSure, said their satellites are being assembled in UK, and that the supply chain is spread across Europe
The Union Cabinet in April approved Indian Space Policy 2023 which aims to encourage private investment in the space sector. Meanwhile, several spacetech startups have emerged in India in the past few years with the likes of Skyroot and Pixxel receiving big investments.
Received as a part of the SPARK grants by iDEX, Pixxel said the grant will help it develop small satellites of up to 150 kgs for electro-optical, infrared, synthetic aperture radar and hyper spectral purposes.
