Bristol Zoo Garden new sloth infant People are being given the chance to help choose a name for the first sloth to be born at Bristol Zoo Gardens in almost 10 years. The infant sloth was born seven weeks ago to eight-year-old mum Trixie and 19-year-old Rio but keepers do not yet know if it is a male of female as it still clings tightly to its mother. A shortlist of three names has been drawn up from around 200 submitted by Zoo members, and voting has now opened for people to choose their favourite on the Zoo’s Facebook page. The choices are:

COVID Worries Have East Lansing Market Hitting Pause It was a great idea, having an outdoor market in an East Lansing parking ramp so that area residents could shop in the age of COVID.  Well it would seem that COVID won this round, and the 'outdoor' market had to pause due to COVID numbers and concerns in Michigan. The East Lansing Downtown Underground Market is located in the parking ramp, located under the Marriott on M.A.C. Avenue. The market, which had been operating on an every other weekend calendar, will be closed this weekend, but hopefully will be able to reopen on April 25th.
